Migration Crisis from the Perspective of the European Union and Successive Polish Governments.

The recent migration crisis has been one of the most critical moments in the history of the European Union showing how deeply the member states are divided not only while pointing out the root causes of the phenomenon but also when suggesting solutions to limit the inflow of refugees to Europe.

The presentation will shed light on the migration crisis as it developed from the perspective of the EU and analyze the remedies sought to prevent it. It will also portray how the crisis and a refugee figure was used and abused by successive Polish governments and main political parties for their short-term and long-term political goals.
