Each month have a drink and discussion with professors and other experts online about important events happening in the world. Share your questions, your views, and help us keep the long tradition of 'politics in the pub' alive during these unprecedented times.

The world is changing and there is an online revolution happening. Connectivity is becoming the backbone of economic growth and the engine of globalization. Significant shift to online digital environments leads to transformation in many sectors: from doing business, to social relations, to running a state.

This week’s discussion will focus on cyber warfare, online propaganda and the effects it has on policy-making as well as the conduct of international affairs in a digital age. Is online propaganda part of cyber warfare? Which tools are still at the states‘ disposal to control cyberspace? Will there be any cyber arms treaty? Do human rights matter in cyberspace? What are the effects of dangerous state activities in cyberspace for an individual. Come discuss these questions, and ask your own.

The lead professor will be Dr. David Erkomaishvili, Charles University Lecturer on Cyber Security.
