8 Candidates and over 80 Votes! The 2022/2023 Alumni Council has officially landed.

The results are in, and we are thrilled to announce that AAU has a new Alumni Council for 2022/2023!

Until January 10, 2022, Alumni took the chance to nominate themselves, or their fellow alums, as possible candidates for the upcoming 2022/23 term. After the campaign period, votes were open from January 17 – 24, 2022. With over 80 votes (almost double of our last AAU Alumni Council elections), and an amazing group of 8 candidates, we’re happy to see the growing engagement in our Alumni Community.

AAU’s Alumni Council serves as an autonomous representative body for the Alumni Community to guide and further promote lifelong, symbiotic relationships between the university and our alumni. Those involved strongly believe in togetherness and still have a lot to offer each other and the school- even after graduation! Alumni Council is made up of 5 alumni elected by the Alumni Community. Each member serves for a two-year term to represent alumni interests and help us shape the development of our university and Alumni Community.
