Erasmus & Exchange Opportunities in 2024/25
If you’re an AAU student dreaming of experiencing full immersion in a foreign culture, it’s time to apply for study abroad opportunities!
We are happy to announce that applications for Erasmus and our other exchanges in academic year 2024/25 are now open.
Full details are available on AAUNET in the “International Exchanges/Erasmus” section (login necessary).
Some basic parameters:
- The application deadline for most destinations is March 4, 2024, though some universities have an earlier deadline of February 19 (please see the announcement for a full list).
- Exchanges are open to all degree-seeking students at AAU on condition that they have completed a minimum of 30 US credits (60 ECTS credits) before they go abroad, i.e. one year of studies, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (see Section 2.9 of the current AAU Student Handbook).
- In addition, the Erasmus program requires that participants be registered in a Czech-accredited program, which may mean nostrification is required (though it does not have to be finalized at the time of application).
- University exchanges, however, are open to students from both our Czech-accredited and our US-accredited degree programs.
- There are no restrictions on the nationality or citizenship of participating students; however, citizenship may subsequently affect visa requirements.
Applications should be directed to Cyril Simsa, Director for International Cooperation, or if you have any further questions, feel free to contact International Cooperation Specialist Natalie Kvackova-Sipula.
We look forward to seeing all the places you’ll go!
