AAU Opens Three New Scholarships

In our ongoing commitment to make quality higher education more accessible, Anglo-American University (AAU) in Prague is thrilled to announce the introduction of three new scholarships.

We already have a number of existing scholarships, funds, and discounts to help students access our diverse array of dually-accredited undergraduate and graduate programs. In the last academic year, we proudly allocated 12.7 million CZK in financial support to students, and now, with these new scholarships, we aim to further address their needs.

Here’s a quick overview of the new scholarship opportunities:

First-Year Honors Scholarship

Designed to assist outstanding undergraduate students entering their first year, this scholarship acknowledges those who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and English language proficiency. Recipients may benefit from a 50% or 30% discount on a portion of their tuition fees, depending on their fulfillment of the criteria. These discounts can be applied upfront to the student’s first or second semester or distributed across several semesters.

Bilateral Recognition Scholarship

Geared towards supporting undergraduate students from the Central European region, this scholarship is exclusively available to those holding secondary school diplomas recognized in Czechia by bilateral agreement. Recipients have the choice of receiving 66,000 CZK per degree, disbursed at 11,000 CZK per semester, or opting to study their fifth semester for free—a value of up to 109,000 CZK.

Family Discount

To nurture our community, the Family Discount extends a 10% reduction in tuition fees per semester to degree-seeking students who are siblings or children of current students or alumni. This discount covers the first 90 US credit hours for undergraduates and the first 60 US credit hours for graduate students.

All these scholarships can be combined and are available to students commencing their studies in the fall of 2024 and after. They embody our dedication to making the pursuit of a quality degree more accessible and ensuring that deserving students can embark on their educational journey with greater ease.
