AAU Lounge and Bookstore to Launch in Sustainable Style

The AAU Lounge and Bookstore will hold its grand opening on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 3 pm to 7 pm, with a brand new range of official products and a renewed focus on sustainability. 

The event will mark the launch of an eco-conscious line of merchandise that encourages students to express their AAU spirit in style while contributing positively to the environment. The new collection will feature 100% cotton apparel and useful reusable articles made from recycled and biodegradable materials. 

The lounge, which sits immediately adjacent to Café des Taxis, has undergone extensive renovations to enhance both comfort and ambience, and the redesigned space will provide students with an inviting environment for relaxation, socializing, and group projects.

The grand opening will coincide with the student life holiday party and craft workshop, which will take place in the cafe. In the store, students and staff will be able to enjoy refreshments and get discounts on previous collections while receiving a small gift with every purchase. 

The event offers the last-minute opportunity to pick up AAU-branded and eco-friendly holiday gifts for family and friends back home and promises to be a fun and spirited afternoon of  environmental consciousness, crafting, community, and shopping.
