All are invited to a reflective presentation on AAU's 2019 International Experience Project!

This year, AAU's 5th International Experience Project ventured to the southern-most tip of Africa to Cape Town from mid-June to mid-July. Guided by two teachers, the nine students studied the city's contemporary challenges through engaging with an array of change-makers and stakeholders to understand how they are designing and delivering solutions, from formal institutions like parliament to community startups in townships. Join us on September 18th from 17:30 in rooms 1.31/1.32 and Cafe Des Taxis, as the IEP crew share what they learned about Cape Town and their personal stories. The presentation will be followed by a braai (South African for BBQ) and South African wine in the courtyard.

About the IEP:

Since 2012, AAU's IEP has mobilized AAU students around the globe, from Sri Lanka to Rio de Janeiro, and to the location of this year's project, Cape Town. The common thread to all these trips is the simple mission they hold; to widen our understanding of humanity and to deepen our understanding of how our education fits into it to make a positive impact while developing students' communication and leadership skills in a global context. It is an elective course open to all AAU MA and BA students.
