A Lecture and Q & A with Writer Jared Marcel Pollen

Writer and critic Jared Marcel Pollen will give a lecture on the practice of public criticism and building a career as a freelance magazine and journal writer. The event will be of interest to all journalism and media students as well as students of philosophy and literature.

Pollen writes on various literary topics for high-quality journals and magazines like The New Republic, Liberties, and The Los Angeles Review of Books.

The lecture will be followed by a Q & A session and will be held on Thursday, November 16, from 9:30 am to 11 am, in room 2.07.
