Virtual MBA Open Lecture: Leading Through Conflict
AAU’s School of Business Administration and Chapman University invite you to an online MBA Open Lecture. This lecture is open to the public and will be hosted by AAU lecturer, Dr. Joshua Hayden, Ed.D.
About the lecturer:
Josh Hayden earned his doctorate in higher education leadership and policy from Vanderbilt University in the U.S. and has published and taught in the field of leadership students for the past ten years. Josh led the Quality Enhancement Plan on Scholarship, Learning and Academic Mentoring at Cumberland University and built executive education leadership programs at Lipscomb University, both in Nashville, Tennessee. He has worked with community, educational and organizational leaders in Haiti, India, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Uganda and Brazil.
About the topic:
Conflict can undermine productivity and trust within a team. On the other hand, it can be a powerful force, if engaged with the right tools and perspective. The task of leadership is to facilitate the learning that must happen for productive conflict, and even focus attention on conflict that people would rather ignore. Come learn how! Leadership is risky and takes courage, but it can transform organizations and communities.
The MBA Open lecture will be held on Skype Meet Now (you can join from a web browser as well, without creating an account).
How to register:
