Anglo-American University in Prague New Student Orientation Spring 2025
A congratulations to our incoming students on the start of their academic journey at AAU! We are excited to extend you a warm invitation to Spring 2025 New Student Orientation Day, which will take place on January 29, starting at 8:30, on the grounds of the historic Thurn-Taxis Palace.
The event promises to be one exciting day, filled with valuable information, stimulating activities, and opportunities to connect with your fellow students.
The program is designed to equip you with the essential tools and resources needed for a successful and fulfilling university experience and will give you the chance to forge new friendships, familiarize yourself with the campus, and gain some insight into Czech culture.
Here’s the full schedule for the day:
8:30 AM- 9 AM: Check-In and Breakfast – Main Hall
9 AM – 9:15 AM: Opening Ceremony – Room 2.07
9:15 AM – 9:45 AM: AAU Services & Student Council – Room 2.07
9:45 AM – 10 AM: Break and Refreshments – Room 2.08
10 AM – 10:45 AM: Meet the Dean’s Office – Room 2.03, 2.05, 2.06 / Visiting Students Session – Room 2.07
10:45 AM: Group Photo – Main Hall
10:45 AM – 11:30 AM: Campus Tour
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch / Clubs Meet & Greet – 2nd floor
12:30 PM – 1 PM: Czech Culture Session – Room 2.07
1 PM – 1:45 PM: Practical and Vodafone Session – Room 2.07
1:45 PM – 2:15 PM: Q&A with Student Mentors – Room 2.07
2:15 PM – onwards: Icebreakers – 2nd floor

P.S. Also, don’t forget to visit the AAU Store, which is located on-campus, next to the Café de Taxis, and will be open for the event and throughout the semester.
