Aeon, originating from the Greek word aion, has been used across cultures and ages as a word describing timelessness. Since we often regard the art of the past as untouchable and distant in a way that separates viewer and painting to the point of irrelevance, it is the aim of the AEON exhibition to invite the viewer to step closer and feel artwork of the past with the help of contemporary art. Rejects the confinements of stylistic eras and time-obsessed isolation of art and invite yourself to participate in being part of the past and present simultaneously!

This exhibition is free entry and opens every day from February 11th-19th between 4 PM and 8 PM. Guided tour available 12th,13th, 18th, and 19th or by request.  Vaccination or Recovery from covid certificate required.
Location: Garage Gallery, Vítkova 631/7a, 186 00 Karlín.
