You are invited to attend the first public debate on the American elections, organized by the Strategeo Institute and Anglo-American University, which will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 5:30 pm in room 2.07.

With this one-panel debate, the Strategeo Institute led by the President Jan Machacek, a newly established non-profit independent platform, will launch its activities.

The first part of the debate will focus on defining the electoral situation in the United States and the causes of polarization in US society. The second part of the debate will focus on the impact of the two possible scenarios of the election’s result on trans-Atlantic relations in both the security and economic spheres.

The debate will be held in English and is expected to last 90 minutes followed by a discussion with the audience. By participating in the debate, each participant agrees to the making of an audio-visual recording, which will be available afterward.
