Professors in the Pub: Students’ Choice

Each month, students are invited to Café des Taxis to have a drink and discuss important world events with professors and subject-matter experts. Come and share your questions and views and join the long tradition of politics in the pub! 

This month:

The world is full of political topics to discuss. As something new, the center table will open to student’s suggestions at the beginning of the evening, with the best topics put to a vote of the room to win the focus of the evening’s discussion. If you have an idea you’d like to offer, get there early and secure a seat at the center table (only ideas from the center table will be put to a vote). Will it be about war? Elections? Human rights? We shall see.

This month’s Professors in the Pub will be held on September 19, 2024, at 6:30 pm, in Café des Taxis.

Discussions will be led by professor George Hays II, chair of international relations, and, of course, you!
