This month: Brexit: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
On January 1, 2021, a year after officially leaving the EU, Britain really left the EU. The few months since this actual split have been ones of increased trade and economic concerns, charges of bitterness in cross-Channel cooperation, and the increasingly strengthening specter of violence on the island of Ireland. What are the roots of the secession option? Why did Britain use it? What are the consequences likely to be for Britain, the EU, and their relationship going forward? Come discuss these questions and ask your own.
The lead professor will be Daniela Lenčéš Chalániová, AAU Lecturer of EU Studies and International Relations.
