Anglo-American University in Prague Meet the Ambassador: Søren Kelstrup
On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Søren Kelstrup, the Ambassador of Denmark to the Czech Republic, will visit AAU to discuss Denmark’s diplomatic traditions, its role in contemporary global affairs, and the challenges it faces on both regional and international stages.
With an extensive background in diplomacy, Ambassador Kelstrup has been at the forefront of Denmark’s foreign policy initiatives, navigating complex international relationships. His talk will offer a deeper understanding of Denmark’s strategic priorities, its contributions to international cooperation, and its stance on pressing global issues.
The lecture, which will be moderated by Chairman Gerald Power, will take place from 3:00 to 4:30 PM in Room 2.07 and will be followed by a Q&A session and an informal period of discussion, allowing attendees the chance to interact directly with Ambassador Kelstrup.
This is a unique opportunity for students, faculty, and alumni to gain insights into the workings of Denmark’s diplomatic endeavors and hear from an influential figure in international relations.
