MBA Open Lecture: The Global Macro Environment

AAU’s School of Business Administration and Chapman University invite you to the next MBA Open lecture focused on the global macro environment: trends, themes, and implications for international business. This lecture is open to the public and will be hosted by Chapman MBA lecturer, Greg Pezda MSc., MBA.

About the Lecturer: Greg Pezda has an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His experience includes work as an engineer at Ford Motor Company in the U.S., followed by consulting projects for SMEs in Poland, work at DHL Information Systems, and at Honeywell Aerospace in Prague as a Strategy, Marketing & Business Development Manager. His most recent experience is in Strategic Marketing / Market Analysis for GE Aviation Turboprops.

About the Topic: The Global Macro Environment: Trends, Themes, and Implications for International Business. An understanding of the global macro landscape serves as an important foundation for decision making, especially for complex businesses operating in the international / emerging market environment.  The current macro climate is particularly dynamic and thus important for businesses to follow and assess in terms of possible strategic impact.  This presentation will highlight the current macro-economic landscape, explore emergent macro themes, and conclude with a discussion and examples of how these inputs/observations inform decision making and help to uncover opportunities in selected industries.
