About the lecturer: Milan Šlapák, PhD. has 20 years of extensive business experience in strategic management. Mr. Šlapák currently works as President at General Electric CR & SK, driving long-term prosperity and growth of GE in the region. He also holds the position of Executive Director at GE Aviation in the Czech Republic, building a new GE Turboprop business: Turboprop headquarter, Engineering Center and Production site for a brand new GE Catalyst engine. He is providing a liaison to the Government and to GE business partners, supporting and executing Catalyst program locally. Mr. Šlapák also holds the post of Vice-President at Aviation Confederation of the Czech Aviation Industry and Vice-President of American Chamber of Commerce.
