Leading a Revolution Tour

Come join the revolution with AAU’s Dr. Joshua Hayden, Lecturer, Institutional Research Specialist, Chair of Department of Social Sciences, as he heads the “Leading a Revolution” tour.

This is an interactive, experiential, and fun way to learn about the Velvet
Revolution and why it still matters. Toppling communism took 10 years in Poland and 10
months in East Germany, but a mere 10 days in Czechoslovakia. Discover what
happened in the places where it happened, starting at Újezd tram stop, moving to the Memorial to the Victims of Communism, and ending at Wenceslas Square with a toast.

The tour, which commemorates Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day, will take place on Friday, November 17, 2023, and last from 10 am to 12 pm.
