GRIEVANCES exhibition by Anya Blanka
GRIEVANCES, an exhibition by Czech/American artist Anya Blanka, will be opening from 6 pm on November 7th, 2024, with additional viewing from 11 am to 5 pm on November 8th at the AAU Studios Room 1.31 in Prague 1.
The exhibition invites audiences into a realm where the boundaries between human prejudices and societal roles are challenged. Drawing inspiration from 80s sci-fi horror, the works of H.R. Giger, and the art of Annie Sprinkle… Anya merges these influences with her growing fascination for AI-generated media.
GRIEVANCES challenges societal norms and questions the fabric of patriarchal structures, offering a vivid experience that speaks to the tensions between tradition and evolution. The exhibition is a call to disrupt and rethink the entrenched narratives that shape our understanding of identity, power, and the human condition.
Through this showcase, Anya Blanka invites you to confront your preconceptions and engage with her grievances.
Realized with the support of Reluvotion, and the Anglo-American University, GRIEVANCES is open to all, encouraging a reflective dialogue on the intersection of art, technology, and social change.
