CANCELED: The 5th Annual Carey Moot Court

THIS EVENT IS CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Students from all AAU Faculty’s are welcome to participate in the 5th annual Carey Moot Court taking place at AAU March 26-27, 2020.

Hosted by The John H. Carey II School of Law, the 5th Annual Carey Moot Court will begin on Thursday March 26th with a series of Round Table discussions on the importance of Freedom of Speech, the values of Education in Democratic Society, and the ability of Trade to Promote Peace and Human Rights. Friday will continue with the Moot Court Competition. Along with the Moot Court, students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Round Table Talks, as presenters or audience participants.

Who can participate?

This Moot Court event is open to students from all 5 of AAU’s schools as a way to commemorate 30 years of AAU’s commitment to education.

Who will judge?

The Moot Court will be judged by external experts and the audience is open to the public.

What are the prize categories?

Prizes will be awarded for the Best Oralist, Runner-Up Oralist, Best Team, Best Written Memorial

Important Deadlines: 

Moot Court Team Registration is open until February 15, 2020.

The Deadline for Team Memorial Submissions is March 20, 2020.
