An Interview with Best-Selling Author David Reynolds

Dr. Gerald Power, Chair of the Department of History and Philosophy at AAU, will interview acclaimed British historian David Reynolds on February 22, 2024, 11 am, at Megabooks Bookshop (Korunní 1300/65).

Reynolds is an award-winning, bestselling author and leading scholar of modern British international history. With landmark publications on the Anglo-American Special Relationship, he specializes in the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Cold War, and is Emeritus Professor of International History at Cambridge University and a Fellow of Christ’s College.

Power and Reynolds will discuss the latter’s latest book, Mirrors of Greatness, which explores the leaders who shaped Britain’s most famous statesman, Winston Churchill. This is an exceptional opportunity to meet with a leading scholar of modern history and should appeal to students of leadership, history, and international relations.
