MgA., MgA. Lea Petříková, PhD

Petříková is a visual artist, filmmaker and researcher. She is a graduate of FAMU (Center for Audio-visual Studies) and UMPRUM (Supermedia Studio) and in 2024 obtained her PhD in the Theory of Film & Multimedia from FAMU. 

In 2020, Petříková received the Jacques Derrida Prize for young researchers in humanities, awarded by the French Embassy in Prague, and in 2023, was selected to be a part of the Berlinale Talents program. She has been active in the field of experimental film and moving image and has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions.
