Matúš Šucha
Associate Professor Matúš Šucha cooperates with AAU as a research fellow on the project named ‘New Generation of Traffic Accidents Statistics’.
Matúš Šucha is a Czech psychologist and forensic expert specializing in traffic psychology. His professional activities intertwine technological and social science aspects as such he combines social science research and technological approaches, especially in the field of transport, mobility, but also more generally in the field of human behavior, experience, and modern technologies. He is the emeritus head of the Department of Psychology at Palacký University in Olomouc. In 2012, he was accredited by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic as a traffic psychologist and is a certified psychotherapist and Europa mentor. His moral qualities can be evidenced by the leadership of the Ethics Panel of the UP Faculty of Philosophy, membership in the UP Academic Senate, the UP Scientific Council, or the award “Important Person of Central Moravia” in 2020. In 2021 his profile was included in the Encyclopedia of Personalities of Czech and Slovak Republic (Britishpedia). At present, Associate Professor Šucha works as a member of the Board of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.
