Marketa Fillingerova

After coming back from the UK with a bachelor’s degree in hand, Marketa started her career at PwC Prague, in the Learning & Development department. Later she spent eight wonderful years in Australia, during which she earned her MBA, plunged into a career in marketing and community engagement at Swinburne University of Technology, and gave birth to her child. 

During the second big COVID wave, she came back to the Czech Republic to enjoy some family time and continued to work in business and e-commerce fields as a marketing and engagement professional.

At AAU, Marketa is responsible for current student experience and engagement. This involves welcoming and onboarding new students, creating a strong and vibrant student community, and facilitating opportunities for students’ professional development. She is always happy to chat about all things student experience related.

Marketa enjoys comedy, music, the outdoors, craft beer, and Australian wine.
