Maria Andreou

Maria received her bachelor’s degree in Social and Educational Policy from the University of Peloponnese in Greece, earning her the qualification of educational policy expert. Following her first Erasmus experience, she began dipping her toes in the pools of research and administration and, after three more rounds in the program, had fallen in love with what she terms the “backstage” side of things.

In 2021, Maria joined the School of Business office, serving primarily as the MBA program coordinator while also assisting the AAU International and Exchanges office as needed. In June 2023, she stepped into the role of assistant dean of the School of Business, where she is now dedicated to supporting students, faculty, and staff members. 

Maria is a keen listener, always eager to help in any way she can. Whether offering guidance, sharing insights, or simply having a friendly chat, she is a go-to resource for advice. From café and restaurant recommendations to her passion for animals, Maria’s expertise and enthusiasm make her cherished member of the AAU Community.
