Daria Shakurova

Originally from Russia, Daria spent a year in Prague in 2012, fell in love with the city, and moved here permanently in 2016. She gained her Bachelor’s degree in English and American Studies at Charles University and is currently working on her MA in American Literature and Culture there as well. In her research, Daria primarily focuses on modern and contemporary theatre, which is also one of her biggest passions outside of school. Apart from being a Coordinator for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at AAU, her work experience includes 7 years in Database Administration, some time in Validation and Marketing Research, and a few Prague Fringes. If not helping out at the school office, Daria is probably reading for her own classes or giving all of her attention to the things she loves: her cat, theatre, Chinese culture, and yoga
