Beatriz Bacarizo Herrer

Beatriz was born in Zaragoza, Spain and graduated in translation and interpreting from the University of Granada with a specialization in French and German. Following graduation, she spent a year teaching Spanish in France before moving to Czechia to continue her career.

Since that time, Beatriz has worked at Instituto Cervantes as a Spanish teacher and official DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) examiner and, more recently, as a teacher at AAU. During this period, she likewise furthered her education, earning a master’s degree in Spanish language teacher education from Menéndez Pelayo International University.

Nowadays, Beatriz often takes part in conferences as a teacher trainer. Her main areas of interest in linguistics are: pragmatics, cognitive grammar, and gamification.
