Daria has selected Czech artist Ondrej Vicena, who lives in a world where technology is placed on a religious pedestal. People here speak the language of the internet and worship obsolete electronics. Thin borders of physical and virtual realities are fading and parallel worlds become one, blending together to the beats of techno.

In his works the artist draws parallels between religious rituals and technological processes; dwells upon the topics of utopia and sublime; calls into question the entire concept of time. You can see his new site-specific one night pop up performative show: “3D-printed ice-cream. Ček tradišn sins 2009.” This exhibit will be on May 31st from 7 PM at Berlinskej Model, Pplk. Sochora 9, Prague 7.
