Ethical dilemmas are reviewed using well known ethics theories. |
Learning Outcomes | Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: – Identify and evaluate ethical issues technology bring to society; – Understand the role and responsibility of IT professionals in dealing with ethical dilemmas; – Recognize potential ethical dilemmas related to organizational business strategy and provide recommendations; – Address current issues related to privacy, censorship and freedom of expression in relation to ethical dilemmas; – Understand the concepts of cybercrime and cyber security as threats to society. |
