Learning Outcomes | Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: – Comprehend and have a clear understanding of key figures, movements and periods in American literature from colonial times to the present; – Understand and analyze literature via close reading of texts, attuning themselves to nuances of meaning; – Understand American literature within the context of its multiplicity of cultures and ethnicities, enriching their own perspectives. |
