Learning Outcomes | Upon completion of this course, students should be able: – To provide an understanding of the financial accounting model; – To read and interpret financial statements; – To arrive at and defend tactical, strategic, and performance evaluation decisions derived from the interpretation and analysis of the financial statements; – To gain an appreciation of the effects of the financial reporting process and environment on the firm along with the ethical issues underlying the presentation and use of accounting information. |
