Anglo-American University in Prague Tuition & Payment
Tuition at AAU varies depending on the number of classes registered, the degree you are seeking, and the scholarships you may receive. Our internationally accredited programs are provided for only a fraction of the cost of similarly accredited programs around the world. As such, you can earn a fully accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree in three years instead of four. This is only possible because of the unique combination of European and US accreditation that AAU has, saving you a year of your life! In addition, our scholarships and payment plans make attending AAU possible for students from all over the world.
Unlike many other private universities, AAU is a not-for-profit, NGO institution meaning we reinvest every cent of your tuition into your education and the education of your peers!

* The above prices apply from the Fall Semester 2025 and for payments made after October 1, 2024.
* Prices are expected to increase by 5% for new students starting their studies after August 31, 2025.
- Upon completion of the the first academic year of studies the prices are expected to increase by 2.5% every following academic year.
- Students who pay full tuition by the end of the registration period for the given academic year and semester will automatically receive a 3% discount on tuition for early payment.
- Please note that listed prices include tuition and all the fees for regular five class registration, there might be minor adjustment in pricing if student registers art classes.
New Program Initiation Offer
Eligible Programs:

Overview:
To celebrate the launch of three newly accredited degree programs at Anglo-American University (AAU), we are proud to offer the New Program Initiation Offer. This opportunity is designed to support the first cohort of students joining these innovative academic programs. By investing in our first cohort, AAU affirms its commitment to academic excellence, global perspective, and student success. This tuition price will be available from the first semester of enrollment up to 90 US credits or 180 ECTS credits for the BA programs and 45 US credits or 90 ECTS for the MA program.
Tuition Options for BA Students:
Option 1: 30% Reduction in Tuition per semester.
All eligible students may receive a 30% tuition discount applied each mandatory semester throughout the duration of their program (up to 90 US credits / 180 ECTS).
OR
Option 2: Final 3 Semesters For Free
Students enrolled in either BA program may opt to receive their final 3 semesters tuition-free, provided they remain in good academic standing with a minimum of 3.5.
Important: In the event that a student terminates their studies or takes a leave of absence within the stated retention period in their contract, they will be required to return all awarded funds to AAU.
Tuition Option for MA Students:
Option: 30% Reduction in Tuition for Entire Degree Program
All eligible students may receive a 30% tuition reduction from their entire degree program up to 45 US credits or 90 ECTS.
*This tuition reduction is not eligible to be combined with the External Distinction MA Scholarship.*
Eligibility Criteria:
- New students from Fall 2025 enrolling in one of the eligible, listed programs above,
- Full-time enrollment (minimum of 5 classes each semester for the BA programs), and
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress of 3.5 each semester
How to Apply:
Students will be automatically considered for the scholarship upon admission. No separate application is required.
Auditing Students
Auditing students can apply to AAU as an Auditing Student if you are planning to take specific courses for your own self-enrichment, without receiving a grade and academic credits. Auditing students pay 50 % of the base tuition for any chosen course.
