Hey everyone, my name is Simona Chmelíková, and I'm an AAU Alumna with a BA in International Relations, graduating class of 2020. During my studies I’ve worked in internships at a variety of organizations around Europe.Today, I'd like to tell you more about the work that I'm currently doing at the BBSK vaccination center.

Introducing Egor Kolpakov: CEO of The Miners Coffee and BA Business Administration Alumni. A globetrotter from a young age, Egor was schooled in Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the Czech Republic. A rebel in a suit, Egor has always set out to do the extraordinary in building an impressive coffee business right here in Prague.

When people say they’re volunteers, usually that means they’re helping a local non-profit, fundraising, or doing community service. When Vanda Proskova says she’s a volunteer, she means she is the Vice-Chair of PragueVision Institute for Sustainable Security.

Tomáš Bendl graduated from AAU with both a BA in International Relations (2013) and an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy (2018). He is now part of Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian NGO focused in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases!

Since graduating from AAU, Anita Hansen Hrubešová has accomplished so much, both personally and professionally in just a couple of years. As founder of Copenhagen Calligraphy, she has grown a high-end calligraphy agency from scratch, and has since worked with luxury fashion brands, hotels, and Michelin restaurants round the world.

With generations of art collectors behind him, Matyaš Kodl is now moving Prague’s contemporary art scene forward with the Kodl Contemporary, the newly opened contemporary arm to the Kodl Gallery which is hosting the country’s largest art auctions…

Estonian by birth, Katherine moved to Prague to study journalism at AAU. She’s used her studies to worked with Prague Radio, Russia Today and Estonia’s Public Broadcast, and she got her Master of Global Marketing at York University in the UK. Aleksandra Artamonovskaja was one of the first students AAU sent on an international exchange to Rio de Janeiro. Now, she lives in London and is currently working as a .ART Global Ambassador and Co-Founder of Electric Artefacts.

On November 24th, I had the pleasure to sit down with Johana Sedláčková Vamberská for a coffee, just across the road from her office. How does one become a rockstar entrepreneur? Ask Vojtech Lambert, BA and MABLIM alumnus of AAU. He co-founded and is managing, LCG New Media, a full-service digital agency ranked among TOP 30 Google partners in the Czech Republic, and is an actual rockstar. He started playing drums in 2003, has released 4 albums with 2 different bands, and has played at festivals such as Rock for People and Colors of Ostrava.

Erica Carlino, MA is dedicated to making the world a better place by engaging youth in international human rights work and helping to develop and implement Sustainable Development Goals. She lived in Prague from 2005 to 2010, where she obtained her Masters’ degree in Sociology and Public Policy at AAU in 2008. Erica currently is an NGO Representative to the United Nations and Executive Director of the Global Purpose Project and Teacher.
