AAU Gala 2025
Mark an AAU milestone in style at the AAU Gala 2025, where three extraordinary occasions will come together under one roof—an enchanting spring ball, the AAU Awards ceremony, and a grand celebration of Anglo-American University’s 35th anniversary.
For 35 years, AAU has been at the forefront of international education as the oldest private university in Czechia and the first to teach exclusively in English. In that time, it has built a truly global academic community, today with students from over 80 countries on-campus, a distinguished multinational faculty, and an expansive, worldwide alumni network. And that is a legacy worth celebrating.
Hosted at the historic Hotel Ambassador Zlatá Husa in the heart of Prague, this special event will welcome students, faculty, alumni, and distinguished guests, while the night promises live music, fine dining, and lively dancing, all in a sophisticated setting.
Adding to the evening’s impact, the gala will feature a raffle, with all proceeds going toward the Emergency Student Fund—a vital resource that provides financial assistance to AAU students facing urgent hardship.

The AAU Gala 2025 will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hotel Ambassador Zlatá Husa, Václavské náměstí 840/5, Prague 1. Doors open at 5:30 pm, with the official program running from 6:30 pm to midnight. Guests are expected to dress in black tie or evening wear to match the occasion.

- 6:30 p.m. Opening Ceremony

- 7 p.m. Awards Ceremony
- Outstanding achievements within the AAU community are recognized.
- 8 p.m. Catering & Open Bar
- Enjoy fine dining, drinks, and convivial conversation.
- 9 p.m. Start of the Ball
- The night’s entertainment commences with live music and dancing.
- 10:30 p.m. Raffle Winners Announced
- Results of the evening’s raffle are revealed.
- 11:50 p.m. Closing Remarks
- A final farewell and words of gratitude conclude the occasion.
All monies raised by the raffle will go toward the Emergency Student Fund, which is dedicated to assisting AAU students in urgent need.
